Orange Lab-Grown Diamonds

Orange lab-grown diamonds are a stunning and unique alternative to traditional diamond! One way to create an orange diamond is by doping it with nitrogen and boron impurities, which creates a yellow to orange color. Another method is by using high pressure and high temperature (HPHT) process which can create an orange color diamond.

The orange color in HPHT diamonds is caused by the presence of nitrogen in the crystal lattice. The nitrogen atoms are incorporated in the diamond lattice as substitutional nitrogen atoms, meaning they replace carbon atoms in the crystal lattice. The nitrogen atoms can then form aggregates that change the diamond's color.
